The purpose of this club is to give students a background in the STEM subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The club encourages students to develop skills necessary for engineering related careers including design process, programming, robot building, troubleshooting, and time management. 

Over the year, students will participate in a number of projects and competitions that require them to work with VEX robotics kits. For the VEX Robotics competition, students will be able to compete against other high school teams in regional events all over Korea.

All students who are enrolled in Korea International School High School are welcome to join the club. There are no grade restrictions for joining the club and students do not need to have experience in robotics to join the club. 

The club shall have a faculty member who will serve as an advisor for the club, attend all club meetings, and supervise all club activities. This year, the club advisor will be Mr. Benny Aulton.

All officers must uphold the club’s constitution at all times. All club officers should stay in contact over the following summer and research possible project topics as well as the new VEX Robotics competition challenge.

VEX Meetings will be held during lunch in room H200 unless stated otherwise by the club advisor. The advisor will be present at all times to ensure the safety and the success of club members.

The purpose of these safety rules is to ensure that everyone can work and coexist in a safe environment. Everyone has a responsibility to the safety of the club and to themselves.

This bylaws may be altered, amended or repealed and new Bylaws may be adopted by a resolution of the  Meeting. The proposed amendment must then have unanimous approval from all the officers and the advisor in order for the amendment to be added to the constitution.
